This pretty piece is called  Chrysanthemum China Place Setting and it is an acrylic on gallery wrapped  canvas.  The size is 12" x 12" x 1 1/2".  This is the second painting from a series of four place settings.  The painting is a delicate, small scale still life, featuring a Chinoiserie-style china plate as its focus. The plate is adorned with blue and white swirling floral motifs, reminiscent of traditional Chinese porcelain.  Resting across the plate is a silver fork with its polished surface reflecting hints of the surrounding colors. The backround is kept minimal but has a loose, scratchy modern feel to contrast the delecate china. This look is elegant and fresh with a classic twist.  This petite size allows you to display this art in smaller nook and crannies, on a shelf, a smaller wall or even resting next to your cook book on the counter top.
